Description

So a few weeks back, while I was on my way home from work, I spied a hosta near an apartment building and decided to prune it of one single leaf...I think it's fascinating that that one leaf has populated my newest pictures with hundreds of colorful plants.... Besides that, the main trees were made with Silo and there are a couple of xfroggies as well....Not too sure about the title on this one, but it'll do for now..... Hope you like it....

more of your lush & beautifully overgrown vistas, this time with roots dominating and the tree's leaves seeming far in the sky (from our POV); and a wonderful leaf-filled ground beneath, like all this nature came out to greet the trees at the root. Like a number of your pieces, this has that clear mid-day light—not a yellow sun-light, but a whitish diffuse light, and it permeates your whole piece with clarity and contrasting shadows. And the browned grasses are beautiful too...I don't get to nearly enough galleries, and I regret that I've missed yours as often as I have, because whenever I come here I'm reminded how fine you are and how complex and varied your landscapes are. This is a beautiful piece...

I love my hostas, I have many different kinds in the garden. So? How did you use them here? Did you scan it and then use the leaf as a texture? I've taken 3 classes on Vue and I'm still a dunce when it comes to the program...a very slow learner, I'm afraid. Also, would you please create a store and put your trees with roots up for sale? Excellent and crazy plants. Love your work. Kitty is adorable too :)
