a subtle, woven, fine-hewn piece with all kinds of subtleties that become visible as one looks long enough. Many different strands; some even cut into the others like they were carved; and you even seem to have transparent 'wings', milky screens that are held up by the strands themselves. It's all against a grainy sandstone background, which only emphasizes the vortex all the more. An abstract work, but very tactile. And easy to view many times...
