Description

Hello ! Here you have the same plant as yesterday, but this is its flowers. Amazing isnt it? :) Thank you all for your kind comments to yesterdays post and special thanks to those who added it to their favorites. Have a lovely week. This morning started very lovely with the sun dancing over the currant field, but no deers today and it is a little cold outside. But yesterday afternoon I saw the male pheasant walking around over there. Unfortunately it was too far away to get a decent shot of him.

another difference in appearance - my hen and chicks variety has white blossoms. I think I prefer these. They remind me of pink taffy.

well, in this shot they look more 'human' (if they'll forgive me the reference—not sure plants like to be called 'human'): The plants now look like normal blossoms, though of course you captured their spindly & prickly edges and that 'floating in deep space' look. You even got those little stamens (is that what those are?) which look like they come one-to-a-petal here: a terrific little detail. One of the things that brings people back to your macros is how you constantly portray nature as new, strange and other worldly. This is probably a small patch in & around your home; but in your macros it looks like you live on about 400 planets and move freely between them. You bring us nature in all its strange and mysterious beauty, and it always feels new...
