I'm having eye surgery tomorrow morning.
Anyone who would like to think kind thoughts, send support and love, pray for me, send white light, make a spell, whatever you do in these instances ... it would be greatly appreciated!
I'm a little freaked out about the whole thing. It's "just" cataract surgery, totally routine, but still, I'm nervous. (There's background in my bio on the subject, for those who might want more information.)
My appointment is at 8:30 am Pacific Time on Tuesday morning.
That is:
11:30 am on the East Coast,
4:30 pm in London,
5:30 pm in Cape Town,
7:30 pm in Moscow
2:30 am Wednesday in Sydney
I want to make it easy for you! :)
I'll take all the help I can get. Thank you!!

A 90 year old neighbour of mine has had both eyes done recently and has celebrated by doing a 3 mile walk every day looking at all the things that used to be so indistinct!! Excellent poem! The times are a brilliant idea, I shall remember you this afternoon, Tara. Best of luck!

I have made a note on my pocket PC so that the alarm will go at 16:15, and I will be thinking of you, sending positive thoughts your way. On the same note as Andrea one of my neighbours had Cataract surgery on both eyes a few years back, she was 86 when she had it done, she's 94 now and pardon the pun has never looked back. She did all her own gardening until 3 years ago as well, now her son comes and helps her. Superb prose my dear, I will be thinking of you. The very best of British.
