Description
I went to the Pilansberg Game Reserve (about 2.5 hrs drive from home) the past weekend with my brother and sister-in-law. We had a wonderful day in the park. We stopped at this picnic spot next to the dam and I managed to shoot this image. The park is very, very dry at the moment and yet there is a quiet beauty about the land.
We saw 2 of the Big 5.

The first thing I noticed was the dry landscape and I felt sad. But it would seem the wildlife is surviving and that brings so much joy to trips like this. Outstanding pov.

What do we always say? "This land is my land..." The colours in your pic is very rich and beautiful, and yes... our country is extremely dry at the moment. Although I hear drops outside the window.... hopefully... just maybe...! Miss you!
