Description

Starting this work I never knew what it would be. Suddenly I just said "enough"... Initiated by Koosievantutti's story of a locomotive modeal waiting to be completed. Guess everyone has their own locomotive waiting to be completed. Thank you. Grateful for your comments on Lookup Time. Nikolay

I think this has a bit in common with the futurists maybe.

Uncompleted works are usually rewarding as everyone can make up his own story ! I like this...

Koosie's a great artist to be inspired by, he appreciates the fine points of art as few do, and I bet he'd appreciate this picture...You have everything from wooden carts-on-wheels to actual mechanical cars w/ engines; and you've turned it into a symphony of horizontals & verticals & shifting lights; with some diagonals and other odd shapes thrown in for counterpoint. Your photographic eye is embedded in it too, it feels photographic. And it's nice to see you do abstract constructions. A fascinating work, forever in the making, nicely compacted inside total blackness, and a lot of fun too. It would be nice to have one of these to play with...

Sadly none of my unfinished works are of this quality, or even somewhat good enough to post, or show anyone! This one looks quite finished. It is awesome!

This is a superb image! I love the repetition that builds on itself. The sense of color and underlying shape is fantastic as well. I have to agree that this image has a photographic feel to it, which is what makes it all the more intriguing, at least for me. Superb stuff!
