This is black Icelandic fine sand, sort of shipwrecked by the ferocious waters of the Jökulsá river, along the deep and magnificent canyon that goes to the sea, in the north of the island.
Sorry for not visiting my friends' galleries, I 've been awfully busy over the past two weeks, but will try to catch up as soon as I can!....
