Description

Tenth in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California. For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08. You see my reflection in the bumper at the bottom of the middle photo. The bottom photo is a true indication of what is meant by pride of ownership. And, despite the 1951 license plate, this is a 1954 model. Ebay is offering one of these for a cool $75,000. Thankx for the visit, and have a happy hump day, which comes by at an increasingly rapid rate.

Hummm…. My friend she is splendid. still Photographied with class. Cheer and mile mercies I go to put it in first lol choice. I adores all me But I know that you include/understand me??? A really great for cruising with the top down. I still remember in the late Spring of 1954 driving Sue Ann's new Skylark on campus, because she thought it would look better to have a male at the wheel. (Sue was a friend of my gf.) Keen, all smiles... Where was I? Oh yes, neat car. And yes, there was a lot of chrome on Sue's forest green "boat."

I'm one of the crowd here, the wheel is the money shot for me...but I do like the others too. I seem to remember riding in a few of these in my teenage years, I think they were popular as "projects" with some of the more mechanically-minded guys...
