Gray and rainy and blowing here too. All beautiful leaves falling off, not one by one, but in clouds. Soon the trees are naked,except these gorgeous pine trees. How dull the forest would be without them, and they smell so good. I can feel the smell in this shot too. And sun shines so beautiful, showing all color nuances. Great series Helle!

Another starburst, Helle, only here you have just one cone, and you give us an amazing amount of detail. It's very bright, all the furrows & etched surfaces & layers just bristle out at us—they're vivid and eye-grabbing. And the burst of needles, top and bottom, are joyous. Lord, you really get the 'burst' of macros. This was a wonderful series!
