Description

Gus Grissom's "Liberty Bell 7" spacecraft. July 21, 1961, 7:20 EST. In my opinion The Mercury Redstone is a thing of beauty! Simple, Elegant, and a Significant step toward humankind's destiny as a space-faring civilization. Been away for a while. The autumn "crazies" are starting to settle down. I've got some catching up to do. Modeled and rendered in 3DS Max. Textures created in Corel. Background aerial photograph of the "Holy Land" swiped from nationmaster.com/encyclopedia Looks better zoomed. Hope you like it. Cheers!

Great 3DMAX render, my friend. Good composition and POV. Nice use of the old 'Holy Land from space' shot. It's a shame that they did not have today's PCs back in the 1960s. I might have changed careers...;o) Warm regards,John.
