Description

I took this photo a few weeks ago at St Ouen in Jersey, its simple but I liked the way the hay bales were sitting just waiting to be collected. Thank you for your views and comments Susan

I just commented the other day that I was used to seeing square bales. Its only here on RR that I have seen the round ones, very interesting to me! Great shot and nice ode to summer! Super POV!

I don't know about cotton buds Susan, we know them as tractor eggs round here, they are usually covered with black plastic and shine out in the meadows. The other day I saw some lilac ones in a field but I didn't have my camera with me at the time. I used to love hay making when I was a teen, we used to ride back to the farm on top of the hay wagon(before bales) and when we got close to the farm we used to rake down pears from a tree that we used to pass under. The only way to get them was from on top of the hay. Excellent capture, and though they are modern, the memories are old, I se they are protected with an electric fence as well. Bravo!!!!!

The electric fence was keeping the cows in the adjacent field Jeff. Yes also they are normally covered in black plastic.
