Since some of you have expressed an interest in the full poem. here 'tis :
"you shall above all things be glad and young
For if you're young,whatever life you wear
it will become you; and if you are glad
whatever's living will yourself become.
Girlboys may nothing more than boygirls need:
i can entirely her only love
whose any mystery makes every man's
flesh put space on;and his mind take off time
that you should ever think,may god forbid
and (in his mercy) your true lover spare:
for that way knowledge lies,the foetal grave
called progress,and negation's dead undoom.
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing
than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance."

it does feel for a moment like this woman is putting a 'life' on, as there's a kind of mask-feel to her face. But it's more that she's finding & contemplating & relaxing into her own self, surrounded by rich reds and deep-glow yellows (a bit of Rembrandt bathing her inner moment)...and you've surrounded her with letters and the whispers of poetry, subtly morphing throughout the piece to become part of your ever-present texture...and the overall is a feeling of a soul emerging through the whispers of poetry and her own inward poesis. The result is a warm, inward and mysterious image, capturing the sense of the cummings sweetly, and feeling like a glimpse into a moment of intense inner change. Autumnal too. You always manage to fit the time so nicely...
