Okay, okay, shameless plug for me for my local hockey team, the Sharks (and apologies to any Ducks fans out there *snicker*)
Originally this was done as a spoof kind of thing to annoy my boyfriend's sister's fiancee (boy, it THAT a mouthful!!!), but, I figured, since I love sharks (the animals) anyway, and they did win their first game of the SEAson....why the heck not! *grin*
As to why the duck is humming/singing the 1812 Overture....well, that's anybody's guess.

Stacey, This is so cute! Love the pun involved too. I do have to tell you I am not really into sports, never have been. Was raised on a farm and while most of my classmates were going to pep club rallies, I was doing chores, and just never got into it, never had the time. However if I am watching a movie, or reading a book about a team, or a player, then I get involved in the story line, and as in the case of 'The Mighty Ducks', yeah, you guessed it, I was so excited when they won, in the movies! ;) Lea

So are sharks, my fine, finny friend, and I have dined on sharksteak. Yum. I am a fan of both species, and appreicate their myriad shapes, sizes and colors. All kidding aside, I love the render. Incidentally, to those who may wonder (and as NekhbetSun pointed out), this image is the one that graces my homepage here. I just figured since Thursday was the season opener for the NHL season and the Sharks played their first game against the Ducks, this was apropriate grin. And, yes, it has clearly hit on some tender nerves, but I assure you, Sharks and Ducks fans alike, this image is ment all in fun (and to tease Robert - see discription) grin. Don't take it too seriously, folks, it's just art and it's just a Sharks fan having a little fun. Thank you all for the comments!
