Description
This image is respectfully and affectionately dedicated to Magnus073 (Dave) who has delighted so many of us with his sweet images and lovely tales of our fellow artists. This is just my small way of giving a little gift back to him.

On a moonlight night, with stars aglow
And dappled light shown down below.
A gentle grey mare looked by her side
And nuzzled gently to her offspring's moonlit hide.
No stallion had with her had been, save for in a dream
And from him glowed a heavenly light, as he danced in a moonlight beam.
In this enchanted hollow, beside a mystic spring
A love had blossomed like a flower, the fruition of which lay before her, the new life she did bring.
Upon a coat of moonlight white, and eyes touched, starlight blue,
And from his shoulders sprung feathered wings, of dappled cloud touched hue.
This was a mystic honour a legacy and gift
Between the worlds of mortal man and fantasy this foal would bridge the rift.
And no bond would prove be stronger than that was forged that night
Under moonlight and in magic, a being pure and light.
