Description

Spied this banana tree as I rode my bike home from the beach the other day. These are the WEIRDEST looking flowers, they look like some kind of alien life form. Check out this foto I took in Mexico last year for another view click here

they are strange looking . Did you see wasps around them? I never saw bees but the warps just love them.

Luscious, would make a nice pattern for a ruffled layered skirt.

Invasion of the body snatchers. The creature is not of this earth! Excellent POV employed in this capture of the multi petaled and textured banana growth, Marilyn! Don't forget to check out my "1948 Morgan Plus 4" posting as of today.

My older sister has about a dozen banana trees in her back yard in Texas and they always make fruit. Although small, they are really good. Love this reminder of home...

weird flower! Also a great capture of the whole area around it! The whole conglomerate is wild, in fact. You got a great strange blue-green sky, that yellow lighting on the far left leaf is a knockout (like an invasion from another planet), and the whole semi shadowed capture of the flower is strange & mysterious too. Also, you got these serrated edges on some of the leaves in mid-ground from the way you caught them in the light, and they look like they'd eat us up if we got too close. Great to see, but glad I don't have one of those in my house! Terrific capture!
