I'm just trying to wrap my brain around this being pencil, lol. Isn't photoshop wonderful????!!!! LOL. It actually looks like sequins to me.... :^) How great to dedi this sparkly image to that true one-of-a-kind swedie, Gun. Isn't she amazing? I'm sure she'll love this, Mark. My best to you both! Thanks Mark!! I feel these are kind beings, coming acoss the ocean from light in your country to my dark night. Extremely welcome now, when the clouds don't allow any stars to be seen on the sky. They look a bit playful too, and I welcome that. If they get bored by my concentration on the monitor, I have the garden full of whirling beautiful golden maple tree leaves for them to play with. Would be a great sight!! Thanks dear for lightening my dark nights!!

Mark you really have done it again with your personal rendition of the spirits of Halloween, and I love how your's are sweet in contrast to the usual fair. knowing this is pencil on paper is mind boggling to me as I can't begin to imagine the time you have invested in this marvelous creation my friend.

The first time I saw this I was reminded of paperbacks I'd read LONG ago about Aliens. I can see Gun loves them! They do look quite friendly and very Droid-like. But..are you sure they aren't here to prepare for the arrival of Quatzequatel?? LOL

Back in the 1970s and 1980s, a few messages were beamed out into space from the Arecebo Observatory, and a part of the graphical representations that were a part of those transmissions to probable non-terrestrial intelligences included images that had the same emotional effect on me as THIS image. I love the symbolic nature of it, the hints and whispers of an underlying reality explained in a non-verbal way. Fantastic.
