OH WOOOW! I love both of them. Your drawing is superb and so excellently done, as only you can do it. And the Filter work makes gorgeous effects on it. It is always exiting to visit your gallery. Always amazing news here.

Really Mark, first I thought it was a pic of my brain. A very fantastic transformation of a great drawing.

Wonderful original drawing. The "infra red" reminds me of Christmas light decorations.

Mark my friend you are simply amazing. You took a beautifully detailed drawing of this 3 flat stucture and transformed it into a red-hot Halloween image. Wonderful idea few would have ever thought of and even fewer been able to carry out.

They are both wonderful, but I'm especially impressed with your transformation. At first glance, it made me think of textiles, an antique rug, perhaps... and I thought, 'How lovely. This would make a wonderful wall-hanging.' But now that I know what it is, I find it even more creative and striking. Wonderful manipulation, Mark, and masterfully done. As always, your eye is right on. -M :^)

Oh, I've seen these buildings, even on Rush Avenue! Talk about getting into the nitty gritty of an image. You've gotten so close - almost at the cellular level - it reminds me of a cross section of someone's blood work or a plant with red dye #2! Now THAT is over-exposed and infra-red. Excellent. (LOL@Gun!)

I miss buildings like this and so it's good seeing this one now...it has such a Chicago feel to it in a way; there is a gritty, urban realism to it that also recalls the intriguing periods of "the American City" back in the days before they became soulless, half-anonymous monstrosities of today. The architectural details are great; they stand out, and your manipulation just makes the whole thing pop even more! superb work.
