Description
This is about the same area as the moonlight shot that was my last posting. I cropped it and all that in PSP.
We came home much earlier then I wanted or planned. Rain happened, but they promised it would just be the occaisional shower. DH (in this case, not Dear, but Dratted Hubby, grins) thought we better come home as the same was forecast for today, Wednesday. Of course it all cleared up, and by the time we got home around 4 PM, the sun was shining. It is today, too, and it's already almost 3PM! Oh well, we will still be going out a few more times. That's the good thing about having something more then a tent, LOL, we have electric, heat, and indoor plumbing, all the comforts of home!
Many thanks for all the terrific comments on the previous post, "Midnight at the Hollow", you guys know how much I love reading all your thoughts!! And thank you too to all who faved it.
I must have taken 15 shots of that "Midnight at the Hollow" posting, and only two came out good! My little camera, a Nikon Coolpix S4, works VERY hard to get my pictures.

I would like to know if I can use this as a background for a picture I want to make for faemike55 - It fits perfect for what I have in mind... Notice his comments here: "Looks like a great place to find evidence of Fae magic" ...He told me he would like to get into making faes in daz... He has been taking lots of pictures of wooded areas like this and saying there might be a fae... He told me there are some bad faes that will make you dance to death... I've been joking with him that I was going to have the bad faes catch him and make him dance - LOL... so can I? Can I use this in the background??? Let me know - I must like it cause I want to use it - LOL YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!

Beautiful rays of light and it looks like the leaves are just starting to turn. Hope you got recharged.. Next time tell hubby he won't melt lol. That's what my mom always told me:))

A super little capture but oh dear what were you doing up so early when you were meant to be taking a break. I had to laugh about the rain, wouldn't you just know it, the cheek of it clearing up. I hope you get back soon to The Hollow.

Wonderful image of your beloved Hollow. It must be a truly magical place with the sense of being anything one wants it to be. There are many such magical places on this earth, and I have been fortunate to have seen a few. These are known as Sacred Landscapes by the Nipmuck Indians that live here in New England. The land I grew up on was once, ages ago, the Summer camping grounds for the Mohawks and the Algonquin tribes. It had the same eerie ambient qualities as that displayed by your Hollow. Excellent capture, Rita!!!!!

Sunlight and sunbeams add superb visual contrast to this after the rains forest view! Fine foto Rita, you show us the leaves are beginning to change, which makes your new family camping setup seem a lot better than a tent!
