Description

We left for the Hollow Friday, a last minute decision. Had to run and do food shopping, run home, rush and pack, and off we went, no time to even post a quick image! A Glorious 4 days, there was still some color on the trees, days were mostly clouds and sun mixed, cool, and the nights were cold. Needed my winter jacket to sit by the fire .. okay, shiver by the fire, LOL! In the morning, just outside our "kitchen" window there is a tree stump which our neighbor, the chipmunk, loves to sit on and scold us for interrupting his morning chores! So I took a picture of him. Many thanks for the delightful comments you all left on the previous post, "Sunrise at the Hollow" and thank you to all of you who faved it. I am now so far behind it may be hopeless . but I will try to catch up. Try is the operative word.

I'm envious of your trips to the Hollow... this was my Wife and I's last weekend to go to the cabin - couldn't do it. since we are getting into the freeze months, we shut off the cabin from water and propane.... I can't complain, I spent one third of the year up there last year. Oh, and we have chipmonks too... cool creatures, but they can leave a home nasty quickly.
