Description

Just sitting at the tiller and thinking, the Serenity is a great boat. She handles like a dream and is as smooth sailing as she could be. Barbara (that my lovely wife) and I had always dreamt of getting away, after I retired, and buying a boat like this one. Many years ago Barb found a picture of a sail boat that she cut out and put in what she called her "someday book". She was always doing things like that. Barb is one of those people that always have a smile and a laugh you just couldn't help but join in with. The wind is warm now and gently coming in from the south and I thought how lucky we were to find a boat exactly like the picture. I was very ill for a long time I remembered. The kids were all grown and gone and I would see them on weekends sometimes. The pain had been steadily getting worse to the point I could hardly stand it. The medications helped but made me groggy. I don't know which is worse. A chill started to come over me as I tried to remember when I got better. But some things wrong. Barb had died of cancer many years ago. We never had a chance to buy that boat. My life had been so lonely since she went away. I would never love another. I heard a sound and looked up to see Barb stepping out from the galley with two hot cups of coffee and some cookies. That looks good I said as she sat beside me. I felt her hand touch mine and then I knew. She would spend eternity with the Serenity and me. Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. Full view is best if you have time. Vue and minor post stuffs. Don Edit: This brought tears to my eyes as I finished writing it. THIS IS JUST A STORY

Don, don't do this to us man. I nearly freaked reading this story and oh man please just let it be a story. You scared the bezees out of me. Personally I think you've found your calling with Vue and water scenes. These are some of the best works I've seen from you... from anybody doing this type of work in fact. It is truely just so gorgeous.
