Stellar array of beautiful rustic photos displayed in this unique collage, Lynell! And, it came to mind that Davy Crockett was born on a mountain top in Tennessee.

A beautiful crafted bridge Lynell, I can't help but wonder what purpose do they serve apart from the obvious one of spanning the water. Although I find this type of bridge very pleasing to the eye I can't help but wonder, Why? Why is it covered? what purpose does the cover serve? I think it a waste of resources. I could find a better use for the wood. Excellent capture and a beautiful bridge, love everything about the presentation, superb montage. Bravo!!!!!5+++++

Good question Jeff, leave it to Jeff to ask this one LOL my answer... Well for one thing the cover... protects and extends the life of the bridge itself..protecting the side supports, one reason some of them are still standing a century later. Also used to safeguard lifestock crossing the bridges.. perhaps. Other reasons, in my mind they are charming, romantic, historic, scenic.

I'm dying to know who the brush artist is who did these photos, but I totally respect their desire for privacy! They're nice shots, yes, capturing the color and cornucopia of your fall. And your collage is very good to the images, your framing & non-framing done well, your 'companioning' of images showing the different angles (they look almost like different bridges, which means good work!), and your reddish brown background color. You did your friend a real service. And accompanied by your usual deftly done description (word & layout). It makes me want to see Tennessee before all the leaves fall...must be breathtaking now...
