To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

a mystical journey, from the heart center, as gwenolye says, you actually caught some of gwenolye's forests, the dark pregnant shadows and inward lights, but you also made it your own, with your spheres & lights & mists surrounding, and I understand the hands on the heart, which she was touched by and resonates with in her life; my sitename means heart-center in sanskrit (c. = chakra), but the anahata literally is the sound of no sound, the source of all sound; and what gwenolye writes of her experiences of this center is both touching, mysterious & essential. All your works emanate from that place, your spirit has been to the places you paint. This is a beautiful tribute to one of this site's beloved artists, it's a beautiful painting and, like everything you do, it pulses with the "sound that comes from the place where one knows no sound...". You've touched gwenolye and everyone else in the process. As always, beautiful work from your inner heart & hands.
