Description

This now covered square, neighbouring the fishmarket, was originally a dock. The no entry sign in the background between the gryphon's paws emphasizes the admonition it's posture readily conjures. The man with the briefcase moving away from us has (un)wittingly(?) crossed the line and is now fast penetrating uncharted territory. I went back the next day to have another shot at this. The sign was gone. So was the man.

Intriguing perspective here, and I like the story that accompanies it. Both words and image play off of each other beautifully, and I love those little snippets of "drama" that happen in and around photographic art.
