I am 58 years young, live in Johannesburg, South Africa and I'm a true product of my continent. I love the bush, the animals, sunshine, sunsets - oh well, anything to do with nature. I am unmarried and have three sons - 37, 33 and 30 respectively and three granddaugters aged 12, 6 and 4 respectively and obviously the light of my life! Photography has always been a passion and I have loved it since I can remember. I was still using a SLR camera and only switched to digital only in late 2007! My other passion is travel and I have been lucky enough to have travelled fairly widely. There are however still many, many places I would love to visit "one day." I am truly an amateur photographer and do it merely as a hobby. So please be gentle when you comment on my work. :-) Thank you Piet, my dear friend, for convincing me to place my work on Renderosity. You owe me one! Hugs, Carin xx

So my little boy isn't the only one. The drivers seat is his fave play spot wether in my boat or car. This is a really cute shot, save it frame it and give it to her when she passes her drivers licence test lol

LOL! That is one great image of dismay at things-not-working-like-when-Dad-does-it on display. That's okay, just be patient. The pretty young lady will have plenty of time in the future to operate a vehicle, perhaps one that will launch her into outer space.

A wonderful capture Carin. This really shows how little she still is. Great shot and great story! Yes, and I would like to see some rain too! Yesterday was still 35C.

Beautiful child, despite her obvious dismay at being discovered NOT driving away! Tell her she needs to grow tall enough to see where she's driving before she can really do it...Wonderful photo!
virginiese

She reminds me sooooo much of my daughter Emma, she was just like this every opportunity she got, she started to drive the day after her 17th Birthday and passed in six months. I used to take her to an old airfiled where she used to practice, and at 12 years old she was driving around the course at thirty miles an hour. I have always felt safe with her driving, she is now a qualified observer for the Institute of Advanced Drivers, she was one of the youngest in Britain to qualify as such. Can you tell I'm proud of her? Lol. Excellent capture Carin, and I agree this should be saved and given to her when she passes her driving test. A real cutey. You are blessed thats for sure. Bravo!!!!!
