Description

At Rucker's Tomb you can climb the stairs and walk all around the pyramid on the base of the structure. At each corner there's a hole in the stone (rather deep, I presume) that's meant to hold a tree or a large bush. One of those holes contains a lovely, healthy tree that was sporting these vivid berries. And yes, like "Rucker's Moss," I'm joking about the name. At first I thought this might be a pyracantha, but it doesn't look quite right, so it's probably something else.

Berry nice! Excellent clarity, texture and vivid color in this macro. The berries resemble nectarines and/or tangelos.
