Description
I didn't do anything to the colors here ... I purchased flowers that were intensely colored, and then backlit them. A bit of a crop and a little sharpening, and that's it!

WOW! This is astoundingly gorgeous! For some reason I'm thinking of the science fiction of Elizabeth Hand...something in the texture, the voluptuous colors, and the whole mood of this image reminds me of the prose in such novels as Aestval Tide, and Icarus Descending (GREAT NOVELS, by the way) and that I made such an association just goes to show how evocative this image is.
