Faemike has become a good friend and he is a loyal follower of my Goddess stories. I always enjoy Mike's commentaries and I hope that he finds his own nitche here at Renderosity.
Aradia - Witch Goddess of Tuscany, daughter of Diana and Lucifer. Dark Diana loved light Lucifer but he wanted nothing to do with her. Finally it came to be that Diana took the form of a cat. Lucifer had a cat that he loved beyond all creatures and the cat slept every night in Lucifer's bed. Diana prevailed upon the cat, who was actually a beautiful fairy to let Diana take her place. And so by this union was Aradia conceived.
Aradia came to earth to teach witches her mother's magic. Aradia was given the no holds barred task of teaching peasant witches how to protect themselves against tyrannical overlords and from the persecution of the Catholic church. She was an expert in the art of poisoning and in ruining crops with lightening, wind and hail.
Young and beautiful but also very wise, she stood on the border between Maiden and Motherhood. Her temple has always been the woods and her litany the fireside whisper. Her followers stubbornly survived the persecutions brought on by the 10th century Canon Episcopi.
Aradia's promise to her followers:
For I am come to sweep away the bad,
The men of evil, all will I destroy!
Ye who are poor suffer with hunger keen,
And toil in wretchedness, and suffer too
Full oft imprisonment; yet with it all
You have a soul, and for your sufferings
Ye shall be happy in the other world,
But ill the fate of all who do ye wrong!

Love this series! You really bring these goddesses to life with your renders and your narratives. The image here is a bit Gothic with the purple lighting, and really brings out her personality. You do have a way with your morphs and your expressions.
