Description

At Rucker's Tomb you can climb the stairs and walk all around the pyramid on the base of the structure. At each corner there's a hole in the stone (rather deep, I presume) that's meant to hold a tree or a large bush. One of those holes contains a lovely, healthy tree that was sporting these vivid berries. And yes, like "Rucker's Moss," I'm joking about the name. At first I thought this might be a pyracantha, but it doesn't look quite right, so it's probably something else.

I don't know what they are either, but they're awfully pretty...wonderful capture of the mystery berries. (That's what I title any of mine that I don't know the identity of; I have lots of shots of "mystery flowers" and "mystery berries" in my files!)

These Ruckers must have been a very wealthy family to have a tomb like that built in the first place Tara. From what you have shown us so far it seems they are as wealthy in death as they were in life. It also seems you have gleaned a wealth of photos from their tomb. Excellent capture, could they be treasure berries?? #;0) Bravo!!!!!

Ooooh. This is gorgeous. Not surprising though, you always capture gorgeous things and present them so well here. But still...all of that aside, the are gorgeous. Great, vivid colors and exquisite details.
