Description

Hi everyone, hope you all had a decent weekend.. I thought I might as well finish off the mini-series of pics from my nighttime ramble last week, pics are in weird order but never mind.. I'm not entirely sure, but I think this is what we set out to find - a ruined 'castle' supposedly... though it didn't look much like it to me! After an hour and half's running through fields, woods and streams there wasn't much light left so either way it became our final target as we neared it and I managed to snap a few pics (did a bit of light painting too which was fun but not yet competent enough to post..) I was considering converting this to B&W originally, but the sunset colours were kind of nice and I thought it was time for a bit of colour... some of you may perhaps be thinking I'm ill, not having posted a sunrise/sunset in a little while, so I left the colours of this one fully saturated ;) I'll catch up on browsing and comments tomorrow when I'm in town and able to get onto the net at a decent speed.. thanks for recent comments and favourites, have a great evening! Adam

Classical capture. I think any ruin should be set in a nice mood like this. I know your quality when it is comes to photographs but makes me wonder how would look this ruin in a different light condition. Perhaps it was a "hidden" reason you guys get to this place almost end of the day.

Adam, this is so very powerful. The mood hits me like a brick with the wonderful saturation and that spot of intense light off behind the horizon.

What a gorgeous photo. Isn't it always the way that the walls continue to stand but the roof falls in! Now if they only made the roof out of the same material as the walls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
