Description

Another shot from a couple of evenings ago when I was out exploring the surrounding countryside in search of a rumoured ruined castle a few miles away from where I stay. As evidenced by my last upload we were kinda caught out by the light, and again here it's the moon you can see behind the cloud.. This field actually had quite a large cow population up the far end so we did our best to avoid any unnecessary disturbance and kept a line along the edge, where we happened across this fallen tree which I immediately envisaged as a black and white print to test out my new printer's b&w abilities, and was pretty happy with the results too =) Part of the reason is my stepmother of sorts is redecorating her newly refitted bathrooms and has requested a number of black and white prints, so I've been doing a lot of b&w processing/keeping an eye out for shots which might work well without colour, hence the comparative slight lack of colour in my gallery lately... Happy weekend to all, Adam

Well done on keeping the Mother-in-Law pleased with your gifts and congrats on the printer meeting your expectation. I appreciated the subtle charm of a world in black and white where one can imagine a cow in the distance a bit out of site.
