Description
We left for the Hollow Friday, a last minute decision. Had to run and do food shopping, run home, rush and pack, and off we went, no time to even post a quick image! A Glorious 4 days, there was still some color on the trees, days were mostly clouds and sun mixed, cool, and the nights were cold. Needed my winter jacket to sit by the fire .. okay, shiver by the fire, LOL!
In the morning, just outside our "kitchen" window there is a tree stump which our neighbor, the chipmunk, loves to sit on and scold us for interrupting his morning chores! So I took a picture of him.
Many thanks for the delightful comments you all left on the previous post, "Sunrise at the Hollow" and thank you to all of you who faved it. I am now so far behind it may be hopeless . but I will try to catch up. Try is the operative word.

I always love when we stay up in the mountains and I get up early and go out on the deck and hear the chittering of the little native squirrels. I would never know they where there if they didn't get so upset lol. This little guy is so adorable. Hopes he's all prepared for winter. Maybe you could help him pack and shop for food:)))

What a cute little neighbour you have, I wish ours were as nice. I love his stripes, and you have captured him beautifully. Great that you took off to have time at the 'Hollow' with winter coming. I wouldn't worry about trying to catch up.
