AloooooooHa!
Caught this little guy scoring dinner while on my trip to San Diego. The beaches have such an abundance of sea birds it was very hard to concentrate on which ones to shoot. This guy had been trying so long to catch something and finally succeeded. He quickly made his way away from the other cranes in the area to enjoy his meal in peace. A quick flip in his beak and the fish was gone!

Is the water out in San Diego cold? Is Hawaii's water on the cold or warm side? ...never really thought about it.

@ Mike...San Diego's water is really cold. You need a wetsuit most of the time. Hawaii's water is about 76 yr. round...Aloha~

I love how you caught him in mid-stride and how he looks so determined and proud. The colors are great, too: the bird stands out as a puff of white and splashes of yellow against the soft gray-blue background. This is a nicely done and stylish, but simple, scene and you should feel proud.
