Description
Continuing excerpts from the diary of Toren Delgado, recording the events of what is now commonly referred to as "The Shortest War":
While we made plans, someone else was acting on their plans, and the darkness was closing on us. Missiles were perhaps the most feared weapon of the previous war. Not because they were the most terrible (and they were terrible, make no mistake about that) but that they were small and hard to detect. Death could come seemingly random and unexpected. By the time they were seen, it often was too late.
Some of us had learned from the last war, fortunately. And we owe them our lives.

Another in the "Shortest War" series. One of the missile-carriers has begun to launch.
Ships and missiles are all modeled and rendered in Bryce 6 (and are all my own creations) Background, Compositing, Engine exhaust, and other postworking was all done in Photoshop.
