Un trou de ver est un « tunnel » qui relie un trou noir et un trou blanc. À partir des équations de la relativité générale, en 1935, Einstein et Rosen[1] découvraient que les singularités de l'espace-temps formaient en réalité des puits gravitationnels de densité et de courbure d'espace-temps infinis. Cette singularité gravitationnelle fut reprise plus tard pour illustrer la géométrie des trous noirs. Un trou blanc, aussi appelé fontaine blanche, est le symétrique d’un trou noir. Au lieu d’aspirer toute matière, le trou blanc l’expulse et serait alimenté par un trou noir. Les trous de ver et les trous blancs sont des concepts purement théoriques : l'existence ou la formation physique de tels objets dans l'Univers sont restés non vérifiés. A hole of worm is a “tunnel” which connects a black hole and a white hole. Starting from the equations of general relativity, in 1935, Einstein and Rosen discovered that the singularities of the space times formed actually gravitational wells of density and curve of an infinite space times. This gravitational singularity was taken again later to illustrate the geometry of the black holes. A white hole, also called white fountain, is the symmetrical one of a black hole. Instead of aspiring any matter, the white hole expels it and would be fed by a black hole. The holes of worm and the holes white are purely theoretical concepts the existence or physical formation such objects in the Universes remained not checked.
