Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

OH MY GODS. Where were you standing when you took this picture!? Honestly, the detail of the wave that you've captured is amazing. I'm trying to figure out how close you were in order to get this POV. Fantastic work.

If it weren't for the white foam of the crested wave, this shot could be interpreted as a micro macro of blond hair. In any case, another superlative capture of the surf at Huntington Beach, CA, M!
MrsRatbag
Another great shot, is that the feet of a surfer in the bottom right? And what's all this about a birthday????
