Description

Hello ! Another break from the mushroom series with this Painting, made with acryllic on canvas. Yes, it is the leaf I showed some time ago as a photo, but another photo, than the one I painted after. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1755132&member I hope you like it. We have a lovely sun shining weather today. but it is also a little colder. Got to go and get thos apples. They are so tasty and juicy and It is time to pluck them right now.

Oh, it's wonderful (as I said in the forum). There's something about seeing it painted that makes it so tactile. Like the acrylic makes us feel it in our hands. The leaf's serrations & segments are painted like the cells of a molecular structure, or almost like an aerial view of a landscape. But you have that yellow, which shouts and bursts through the piece, and you've shaded it well, and surrounded it by your deep earthen browns—real autumn stuff! And I love those little pebbles strewn around, little cells of light. It's a perfect 'long' piece—just what a long piece should be: a movement & a visual tale. I love it. Beautiful autumn image.
