Mark this is simply amazing and full view really helps see the lovely details so well. The outer color is soft and really helps draw one's gaze and keep it focused on the lovely bouquet.

no gun, it was straight watercolor & gouache on paper. The slight flattening was from the scan & from more gouache than wc...

Wow... a punch of vibrant green! This reminds me of a Minnesota October. The reason I say this is that the grass is usually still green. However, the typical crisp dusting of snow we get with the scattering of brown leaves is exactly what this is made of!! Oh - that hint of slate blue is because the snow melted and turned to ice. I love this!!
