"Hello? Is anybody there....?"
In keeping with the Halloween season, todays pic is a little creepy! This is a straight Poser 7 render, with some blurring post work effects done in Photoshop. I was looking around the runtime, and found this unused little monster, and decided it was time to dust him off and set him loose on an unsuspecting Vicky4.
The lighting is something different. I tried using an Image Based Light (IBL). The first couple of renders came out bleached, but by setting the intensity to about 30% it gave a good feel, but still allowed me to create shadows using an overhead spot light on each of the main characters. I'll have to play with this some more, but if anybody knows any tips or tricks using IBLs, please let me know.
My dedications to the Renderosity artists who have supported my posts continues, and todays pic is dedicated to 'ledwolorz'. Aleksander's a photographer, and the images he posts to his gallery are very interesting. Photos of strange looking sculptures, landscapes, plant life and the like. He just has an amazing eye for composing a picture through the camera lens, and his gallery is well worth a couple minutes of browsing. Also, his comments on my images have been very kind, as well. Thanks Aleks!

One doesn't like to have to defend one self or fend off intruders in the bath room. The response would be crisp and sudden. Only a private detective would be carrying at such a moment.

I really like this picture although I am not sure if she has already nailed him? It looks like it. I appreciate when an artist takes the time to tell how a piece was put together or tell a story to match. Great job.
