Nice shot, Alex. The patina is caused by the fact that the barrel is made from bronze. This cannon would have had an ammo box, also on wheels and would have been horse drawn.

Cool capture, well done! There's a cannon sitting incongruously on a city street in Bellevue, I keep meaning to get some shots of that. But this one looks better!
