Description

From the pond. Edited in photoshop (elements) to brighten the existing colors and also add some orange for variety. I was tempted to put a kite in there somewhere but it didn't work out. Thanks for your wonderful comments on "honest political discourse".

am not sure if we're looking at a reflection or if this is the sky as seen from kneeling by the pond; and in either case it's a simple shot, private, and with the feeling of looking up to a big place from a small private niche. Every photographer, I assume, wants to get shots like these from time to time, the "looking up from down here" shot; and you do it unassumingly, no frills or poetic celebrations, just a quiet study of sky & clouds & quiet. And the orange fits naturally, in my opinion. A gentle shot.
