Faded memories. Screened-in porch though - that would have been a big plus.

can hardly wait to see those pictures from the festival! This old house is super. Looks like someone started to paint it once-upon-a-time and never got it done. The tall grasses give it a whimsical flavor.

It looks like someone made an attempt at painting, then rather ran out of paint or money. Great shot!

Though dilapidated, this house still has its own charm you've captured so beautifully.

Someone started to re-paint this old house, but must have run out of steam or money ? Interesting renovators special ! ~Cheers~

Oh boy, something needs a gardener and/or landscaper real fast! Get out the old scythe! Neat POV used of the cool house in this capture, Jock! Almost looks like something out of the Civil War. Can we say, ramshackle?

I can imagine a noise they had to put up with. Charming house I have to say.

Nice capture Jocko! ! Kind of sad what looks to be an okay house has been abandened and left to decay. Your photo shows the weathered textures and wild growth of plants very clearly.

I wonder why they stopped painting it... then again, why did they start?
