Description

another shot of Mariaberg...I sneaked into the school its today and was lucky to get this shot with nobody around. The cloister is very special, because it's sprung archs have alternating capstones each shifted to the left or right and not dead center. Thanks a lot for all your wonderful comments on my last shot and hope you will enjoy this one too...smile

Beautiful shot...the arch in the door itself seems to mirror the arches in the ceiling. And you've made me stop and think about all those ceilling arches...why would the capstones be offset? One would look strange but in many, the offsets lend a sense of symetry too. Bill

What a wonderful shot. It is obviously vacant - uncluttered and silent - and yet, it is also filled with so much apprehension it seems full. Great shot.

Excellent capture of this most pristine internal structure, Ulla. Love those arches! Looks like something out of the Middle Ages.
