To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Wooo, I agree with Schonee, instant fav! This is just so well crafted...it totally has an ancient look with no explanation needed. I am glad that you went with the title that gave the piece the dignity that it totally deserves. Sometime I will be banging on your door for photoshop brush lessons, but mostly I should be looking for composition lessons because it is the layout that roots this piece, not only on screeen but in my mind. This one goes on my hard drive for future study.
