Description

Hi Folks, Its my birthday today! I am now 21!! (LOL I wish) ;) I have been back in my favourite morphing/modelling software: Argile. I wanted to create a Manga style character, but with my own slant on the genre. Created the morph in the Argile modeller, the textures in photoshop and Vue. This is a Vue render and I spent a lot of time on the lighting and have also improved my render times considerably (as well as quality) by experimenting with the render settings. I had to create new render settings because the hair looked dreadful and could not be rescued with post work. The original render times were 8 hours and looked awful, my new render settings take 1.5 hours and needed very little postwork. Tom asked why I used Vue and not my usual C4D/Vray.. well the story goes... basically the import into C4d kept causing an internal C4D file error and I wasted 3 hours before I found out. I like a change anyway and really enjoyed creating these images in Vue. Well, I do hope you like Ty-Lee and that you are all fine. All the best Steve htp://web.mac.com/stevey3d

21? I thought you were older than that! So, you've the life to work better and better... And as you're yet a great 3D artist, using many different softs, I hope you'll be able to earn enough money with your passion so that you could live with it! This girl model is interesting : not really a manga and not really realist... The both together. There are any problems with the hair when importing from Poser into Vue. The nomber of polygons is impressive and the texturing sometimes not perfect. Nice work!!!!!!!!

Happy birthday Steve! Nice morph, I never have recognised her as a TY2. Skin tone looks amazing, nice hair, a real PIA in Vue. Any tips on render setting to help hair in Vue?
