Description

This is the bust that greets a visitor to the Buffalo Soldier Monument illustrated with the Horse Cavalry Soldier in my posting yesterday. This is a bust depicting a wise, old Master Sergeant in the 10th Cavalry. His uniform places this sometime in the period from 1866 into the 1880s. A full-size view reveals the quality of this sculpture. Thanks for looking. Bill

A fine quality bust. And yes, the full size does show of true workmanship. You should see some of the lumps of concrete they are trying to call 'art' here!! Great art and a fine photo. Well done, Bill. Rob.
