Description
I have to admit that I'm feeling very relaxed just being here and listening to the water sing...
Hold everything! Since when does water sing with words? What's going on?
We turn to look upstream and there she is across the stream ... a fae? Zlata is a fae?
me: Hello?
Zlata: Hi there! How are you enjoying the hike?
me: Loving every minute of it... uh aren't you with starlightpainter? And your voice is louder than her voice.
Zlata: No, silly! That's my sister. She told me that she really likes being there. She's learning all sorts of new things like guitar, ballet, ball-room dancing. and she has her friends come over and hang around so she is having a lot of fun, especially with her new dollies! My voice is louder because I choose to be louder, so you can hear me over this water.
me: I see! She doesn't have wings and you do. How's that to be?
Zlata: We've always had wings, it's just a matter of whether or not we will show them to anyone. I decided that I would show you mine. I'm to let you and your friends know that you are welcome to hike along the trail and all the small trails you find and that you won't be bothered by any of us.
me: Is there anything that we need to watch out for as we continue on this hike?
Zlata: Nope! We made sure that all the bad things and people are no longer here, so it's safe to walk around and explore. The only thing we ask is that you be respectful of the forest and the water and everything will be just fine.
me: You said we?
Zlata: Yep! there's more of us around. We've been watching you as you've been walking along the trails. Some of you are just plain silly and some aren't really sure what to expect. We've seen the wonder in your eyes as you look at all the wonderful scenery. We really like that some of your group really and truly believe in the fae. That makes us feel very good.
me: I'm glad that we do that for you!
Zlata: Thank you! I gotta go now, I've got to join the rest to pick mushrooms and berries. So all of you be careful where and how you walk and have fun on this hike! bye-bye!
me: bye!
Well, there you have it! there are faeries in this forest, not quite what I expected but, they're here and I think we should do as they ask
