Description

Wishing everyone a great and fun Halloween !!! And to all my Pagan friends here, Blessed Samhain !!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SETH !!!color> Here's a little info on Samhain : Samhain (pronounced Sow (as in female pig)-en), dates back to the ancient Celts who lived 2,000 years ago. Contrary to what some believe,it is not a celebration of a Celtic god of the dead. Instead, it is a Celtic word meaning "summer's end." The Celts believed that summer came to an end on October 31st and the New Year began on November 1st with the start of winter. The Celts also believed at this time the veil between the world of the living and the dead was the thinnest and was a perfect time to honor their ancestors or contact the departed. For modern Witches and Pagans, it is one of the Greater Sabbats, our New Year and for most of us we still follow the ancient Celtic traditions of honoring our ancestors and departed loved ones. It has nothing to do with evil or the Christian devil, which Witches don't even believe in ! For more info on the true meaning of Samhain/Halloween here's a link : Samhain Photobucket Credits: Thanks to Carol (romanceworks) for this great Burning Pumpkin BG from last year ! www.inobscuro.com

Sorry for giving late comments. I was cold the last days and had a bit fever. But I was enjoying Halloween, with many many old and newer Horrormovies in TV. Lying in the couch and drinking a lot of tea. Very nice collage of Nosferatu, Dracula and Elvira. Have a nice evening and I hope you're feeling well. Sandra
