Hello! Another shot in this series. A mushroom ring. :) Thanks for your so kind comments to yesterdays upload and special thanks to those who added it as favorite. WOOW 8 favorites. Never had that many. I am really apreciating this. We are having a peaceful weather. A little cold, but nice and sometimes we see the sun too. :)

I wonder how many different kinds of mushroom grow where you are? There seems to be a never-ending variety, you lucky thing! It is so cool how these grow around the outside of the cut, it must be a moisture and wood-density thing. Great find and capture!

Very interesting! I'm always asking myself, why do they cut out trees if they abandon them later? Such a ring of polypores certaily needs several years to develop!
