Hello ! This mushroom shot is about the last one in the series and absolutely a ZOOM worthy. I was very thrilled when I saw these tiny schrooms and they are really tiny as waterdrops and sit like this in colonies. Isnt it amazing, not to mention the colors? Thanks for your kind comments to yesterdays post. Special thanks to those who added it to their favorites. I am very grateful. :)) We are having cool, but very beautiful weather today. And I am just sitting here by the computer. Usch!

I minored in Micobiology 40 years ago. All I have to show for it is I can say words like basidiomycetes, Pucciniaceae, Ustilaginomycetes, Heterobasidiomycetes, and Homobasidiomycetes; but, I do enjoy the simple names of rust, smut, jellies, and rot! I use to enjoy the long names like Neocallimastigomycota, but if you think Software applications change fast, the Kingdom of Fungi & it taxonomy will never settle!
