Description

One of the last flowers in my garden that seems to thrive in this cooler weather. I just love the different colors these long blooming flowers come in. I enclosed a site that tells a bit more about them... they're edible too, and beautiful addition to your salads!!! Hope everyone had a fun Halloween!!! anyone roasting pumpkin seeds??? http://www.sallys-place.com/food/columns/gilbert/nasturtiums.htm

Wow, this one just smacks ya right in the face! Such a burst of color, I can see why they are one of your favorites. I'm surprised that they are in bloom this time of year, but what a nice surprise. Clean and crisp Akemi-san! Aloha~

Astounding clarity! They aren't easy to get so well focused because of the great depth in the center. I'm not roasting seeds but I have steamed 2 large ones and tomorrow I will be baking pies. They go in the freezer for the holidays. My family won't touch store-bought pumpkin pies any more. I've been spoiling them with homemade ones for over 15 years now. :-)
